The 2019 Autoparts East Africa forum, an international platform for the automotive supplying industry, is set to kick off tomorrow at Nairobi’s Sarit Centre paving the way for players in the industry to network and exhibit their products.

The event, which will run till September 14, was organized by Trade and Fairs East Africa Limited and according to the firm it will present exhibitors with a perfect marketplace to showcase innovative products and services to an audience of industry professionals.

“Car buyers are looking for innovations in car design and user experience that meet their lifestyles and business needs and the event seeks to enlighten customers on where they can get quality, affordable car parts,” Mr. Fred Buoga from Trade and Fairs East Africa Ltd said in a statement.

Mr. Buoga similarly revealed that more than 100 exhibitors, both local and international, will grace this year’s event which will feature seven categories namely: autoparts/components, electronic systems, auto accessories, Auto Dealer & Workshop Management, Car Care & Filling Station, garage systems, Service, IT & Publishing and Garage & Repair Systems. The exhibition is also set to attract financial institutions, transport operators and government agencies.

He consequently called on local interested parties to capitalize on the situation and forge relationships with firms that will be exhibiting their products.

“Local automotive suppliers should explore partnerships with international carmakers to manufacture some of the automotive components locally thus lowering costs and creating jobs,” Mr Buoga stated.
