Electronic powerhouse Samsung has launched a three-month nationwide promotion aimed at rewarding customers for sticking with the brand as it celebrates 50 years of being in operations.

The promotion, which will be running in the company’s authorized dealer stores countrywide, will see customers receive discounts and special offers on an array of Samsung products such as QLED TVs, fridges, microwaves, Samsung mobiles, tablets, vacuum cleaners and washing machines.

According to a news report by the Star Newspaper, the promotion will see customers receive a 10 percent discount on select refrigerators, washing machines and microwaves. Customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ smartphone will get a 50 percent discount off the Galaxy Watch Active which comes as part of the smartphone’s package but is sold separately. Customers who purchase a 65” or 82” QLED television will be gifted a Samsung 43” television for free.

According to Samsung, the promotion is aimed at celebrating loyal customers while also cementing the brand’s position as a major player in the electronics manufacturing industry. Samsung Electronics East Africa, Head of Internet and Mobile, Charles Kimari similarly insisted that the end of year promotion will allow the brand’s customers to achieve quality products at discounted prices as they brace for the December festive season which is usually marked with the exchange of gifts.

“As we continue to celebrate 50 years of innovation touching lives and breaking boundaries, we wanted to say thank you once again to our millions of loyal customers with special offers just for them,” Mr. Kimani said in a statement.
