UAP Old Mutual Group on Thursday launched a digital wellness application program geared towards enabling the firm’s customers to keep track of their health.
The wellness application program dubbed Go Plus is designed to enable the insurer’s customers to monitor and improve their health. The application allows customers to hone their physical wellbeing by participating in a raft of healthy activities such as hiking, running and cycling. After successfully participating in the activities, the insurer’s customers will get rewarded with redeemable points which can be cashed in for a chance to win a fully sponsored holiday trip, gym membership with a fitness centre in the UAP Old Mutual Group panel and UAP Old Mutual products.
According to UAP Old Mutual, the wellness application will greatly help the firm’s customers in achieving their wellness goals at a time when lifestyle diseases are becoming more common.
“We value our customers’ well-being and their feedback is paramount to us; that is why we came up with this solution that will help them keep track of their health on the go. Enabling our clients’ dreams is key for us and we believe this wellness program will help them go a long way in enabling them achieve their financial and wellness goals” said UAP Old Mutual Managing Director, David Kuria during the launch.
On his part Isaac Nzyoka, the Group’s Chief Operating Officer, reiterated that the wellness program was designed to meet the needs of customers in a market that is becoming digitally oriented.
“As a Group, we are very conscious of the digital shift globally in regard to financial services and other various offerings. Go Plus is one of our digital innovations that is aimed at helping our customers live a healthier lifestyle. We believe that this will go a long way in improving and helping our customer take control of their lives,” Mr. Nzyoka said.
UAP Old Mutual’s Go Plus application is currently available on Google Play Store.
