Aspira unveils new logo and brand colours

Digital product financing firm Aspira Kenya last week launched a new logo and brand colours in line with its local expansion strategy.

The firm, which has more than 70 registered partners and a presence in over 100 points of sale in Nairobi and Mombasa, allows customers to procure household goods and services with free credit assessment, competitive rates and limits of up to Ksh. 500,000. Some of its retail partners include Superfoam Mattresses, Kingsway Tyres, Hotpoint, and Victoria Courts.

“Our aspiration is to provide customers with an affordable way of realizing their dreams, accessing various products they need, through our competitive financing solutions,” said Yoeal Haile, Aspira’s Managing Director.

Mr. Haile was similarly hopeful that the re-launch will minimize the financial access gap between the city and countryside residents allowing them to procure commodities at affordable rates.

“Aspira’s Lipa Baadaye campaign aims to empower its youth to take control of their finances through strategic borrowing to facilitate their lifestyles. Deepening access to financial economies enables an economy to thrive. With our offerings, we believe that both the end users and the retailers will be empowered thus boosting the country’s economy,” Mr. Haile elaborated.

In September, Aspira penned a deal with Fairdeal to enable Kenyans to purchase high end furniture from the furniture firm and pay for them in monthly installments of 6, 9 and 12 months. According to Mr. Haile, the deal was struck to help individuals and families achieve their lifestyle aspirations and ambitions while enjoying a flexible payment plan.

‘’We are very excited to partner with a very reputable furniture company that ensures our customers only enjoy genuine and quality furniture. Kenyan consumers are very quality conscious and we are confident that Fairdeal meets these expectations both in terms of product standards and customer service.” Mr. Haile explained then.
